The Surya Story
Nestled under the Nerul Bridge, near Candolim in North Goa, Surya Bar & Restaurant has been a beloved neighbourhood's food joint for decades. Named after the first proprietor, Mr. Suryakant Agarwadekar, the restaurant still carries forward the legacy that was started from humble beginnings. The jetty near the restaurant is where we source our seafood and the old local market is where we buy our spices from the elderly women to make our curry. This is not just a restaurant. This is where Goa comes to eat, drink and belong.
